- You will love wearing these “Extra Shine” tichels on their own or by combining it with a “Royal Ruffle Sash” to give it an exquisite look. You can also wear it together with a “Rose Tichel” for more glamour. When people see me wearing this hair scarf, they cannot help but stop and stare. It is important for our Tichel to look beautiful so that we can look just as stunning as our relatives who do not cover their hair and make a Kiddush Hashem.
TICHEL STYLING TIP: When combined with a “Rose Tichel” you wear it in a slant to reveal the beautiful rose on the side. First, fold the “Extra Shine” about 3 to 4 inchs in the front so that it is not too long in the back and reaches the neck. Then, place it on your head so that both ends of the hair scarfs are equal, and tie it in a regular knot in the back. Afterwards, fold the “Rose Tichel” in half, and place it an inch further back on top of the “Extra Shine Scarf.” Make sure you place a full picture of a rose on one side of your head. Next, fold one of the ends of the “Extra Shine Scarf” and place it diagonally over your head revealing the rose you selected. You now have 3 ends hanging (2 ends are from the “Rose” tichel and 1 from the “Extra Shine.”) Afterwards, take the 2 tichel ends on one side and bring them over your head to the side where the flower showing. Then, bring up the other end and combine it with the other 2 in order to braid them from the top. Once your finished with the braid, allow the longer end of the hair scarf to hang down, and tuck away the shorter ends in the back. Finally, put a matching “Royalty Pin” on the opposite side of the flower for the finish touch, and here you have the look you have been waiting for. Video tutorial coming soon!
